Our Long Serving Team and Kindaburra Community
Director's Address (March 2017)
As of this month and on a monthly basis, I will be starting a new initiative at Kindaburra whereby I give my thoughts and recollections of the preceding month. It is a time for reflection as well as a gateway to my thoughts and driving principles in my operation of Kindaburra. I invite users of our website to sign up and leave a comment on each address as I and the team at Kindaburra love hearing from our community.
Last week was a lovely reminder of just how long some of our most dedicated team have been members of our Kindaburra family. I had a mother visit us who's child attended Kindaburra from the Possum room through all rooms and is currently in year 5 at school. She came to enrol her child age 2 and as we walked around she recognised many names of our team to both our delight; Mr Nicholas, Ms Danielle, Ms Natalie, Ms Mary, Ms Lesley, Ms Ijah, Ms Brooke, Ms Rangi, Ms Trish the Educational Leader and of course myself. It occurred to me just how lucky we are to have such dedicated and long serving team members. As I reflected on the past decade and even more for some of the team, I noted just how long we have made Kindaburra a place of wonder and learning. A place that I am proud to be a part of. We have alway strived for the best for all our children and have achieved Exceeding in National Quality Standards in every Accreditation we have been assessed for. A feat not possible if not for the team members bringing their dedication and their individual strength every single day throughout their careers at Kindaburra. The respect we share for each other and the willingness to strive for excellence in all that we do evokes in me an ineffable sense of gratitude to my team.
We have been through many private day to day events and share our support to each other through kindness and compassion. I just thought I would let you know just how wonderful our team here at Kindaburra are and to extend an invitation to post or share a moment you have had that helped make a difference or to even give thanks to one or many of our team members.
