Dear Families, 

Kindaburra is celebrating Book Week next week from 21 - 25 August 2017.

We will be setting up a library in one of our rooms which all the children will have access to.

On Thursday (24th) please have your child come in dressed up as their favourite story character. Our focus is on book characters this year, not on film and Disney characters. 

If you have time we'd also like to extend an invite to any family member who'd like to come and read with a small group of children at the Centre. If this is something you'd be interested in please speak to your child's teacher to establish a suitable time for the room.

We are attaching below the Tiddalick Aboriginal Dreamtime story for you to share and read with your family. Our children are quite familiar with this story as we have been reading this over the past few weeks at Kindaburra, we're sure they'd like to share the story with you too.
